In the latest issue of "Ciao" magazine, released on October 3rd, Ren Nagase from King & Prince takes center stage in the opening gravure. The theme? "To us when we were 12." Nagase fondly looks back at his 12-year-old self, reminiscing about his move from Osaka to Tokyo. He admitted being shy and having trouble making friends initially but shared some valuable wisdom, "I realized I could just make one important friend, and it became much easier. I cherish the friends I've made over time, and you'll naturally make more friends that way."
Addressing the Ciao readers, he shared a heartfelt message, "Back then, I was shy too, but now I'm connected to so many people. 'Worrying' is an important part of growing up, so don't be afraid to worry a bit. Enjoy your student life to the fullest; it's going to be filled with exciting moments!"
In this issue, Nagase also discusses the highlights of the movie "Court Game," in which he starred, and shares an interesting story about preparing for his role by observing real courts.
The November issue of "Ciao" also features Ken Matsudaira, who offers advice to Ciao Musume readers, answering questions and concerns like, "Is there any point in studying?" and "How to make up with a friend after a fight."
