NHK has decided to postpone the November broadcast of "The Shonen Club" (BS Premium), a music program featuring Juniors (formerly Johnny's Jr.) aspiring to make their record debut. This decision comes in the wake of recent developments related to the program's content and title. It has made it impossible to proceed with the program's recording, and adjustments are being made to conclude the program by next spring.
The program has been affected by ongoing changes related to its content and title. As a result, the public recording scheduled for October 16th at NHK Hall was canceled, and the November broadcast was marked as "undecided."
NHK's Media Director, Hiroo Yamana, announced the intent to conduct a thorough review of the program. However, he noted that no definitive decisions have been made regarding the program's future recording or resumption of broadcasting.
Furthermore, TV Asahi has also announced that the junior variety show "#Naked Boy" will conclude its broadcast on November 4th. The reason cited for this termination is the disappearance of the Johnny's Jr. name, leading to a substantial overhaul of the program's content and the creation of a new program titled "Kakueki!" starting on November 18th. "Kakueki!" will feature juniors and others exploring the charm of areas surrounding train stations, creating a fresh and engaging show.
