X JAPAN's bassist HEATH, has tragically passed away at the age of 55 due to cancer. The news of his sudden passing shocked those close to him, with reports indicating that it all happened too swiftly for anyone to anticipate.

HEATH had been battling health issues throughout the year, which eventually led to his seeking medical assistance. Shockingly, a cancer diagnosis was delivered, and tragically, the disease had already advanced significantly, giving HEATH little time to settle his affairs. He wasn't even able to share this battle with the members of X Japan.

YOSHIKI, the iconic band's drummer, pianist, and leader, made a swift decision to cancel his appearance at the "37th Award of Honor Gala" in San Francisco, originally scheduled for November 1. Instead, he flew to Japan where he silently bid farewell to his cherished friend.

Our hearts go out to HEATH, and we hope that he finds eternal peace in the company of the legends who left us too soon.
