Former Kis-My-Ft2 member Hiromitsu Kitayama is embarking on a solo journey, making his debut with the digital release of "RANSHIN" on the 17th. Kitayama joined "TOBE" in September, led by Hideaki Takizawa.
"RANSHIN" is Kitayama's first foray into the digital music scene and his unique touch is evident in both the lyrics and the jacket design. This release marks TOBE's third debut, following the introduction of the 7-member group "IMP." in August and Ken Miyake's solo debut in September.
Reflecting on his solo endeavor, Kitayama stated, "I've put a lot of effort into making this music enjoyable for everyone. While maintaining a rock vibe, I aimed to infuse the lyrics with the beauty and playfulness of the Japanese language amidst the intensity. I had a good time expressing my thoughts. I hope you'll enjoy it and let your emotions flow freely."
Takizawa commented on Kitayama's solo venture, saying, "This work showcases a new aspect of Kitayama as a solo artist. The energy drawn from his past experiences is palpable, raising expectations for his future musical ventures. I'm curious to see the artistic world he will unveil and look forward to experiencing it together with everyone."
With the release of "RANSHIN," Hiromitsu Kitayama embarks on a new chapter in his musical career, offering listeners a glimpse into his unique style as he navigates the solo path under the banner of TOBE.
