A 43-year-old man from Kasugai, Aichi Prefecture, was arrested for entering the women's bath area at an onsen (hot spring) facility in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture. The incident took place on the evening of November 13, and the man now faces charges of trespassing.

Upon receiving a complaint from a female customer who reported a man's presence inside the women's bath area, an employee confirmed the man washing himself in the women's bath area showers and immediately called the police.

During police questioning, the man admitted to entering the women's bath area and expressed, "Although I identify as a woman at heart, I truly don't understand why I shouldn't enter the women's bath."

The police are conducting further investigations into the man's actions and any additional potential offenses.
