Shonen Ninja's leader, Koki Kawasaki, is set to take the stage in the musical "Machida-kun no Sekai," scheduled for performances from March to April 2024.

Adapted from Yuki Ando's manga of the same name, serialized in "Bessatsu Margaret" from 2015 to 2018, "Machida-kun no Sekai" narrates the story of Machida-kun, a reserved, bespectacled man whose quiet demeanor unexpectedly impacts those around him, leading to love and acceptance. Wally Kinoshita will helm the production.

Kawasaki will portray the titular character, Machida-kun, alongside Itsuki Nagasawa as heroine Nana Inohara and Yuki Kamisato as Yu Himuro, Machida-kun's friend. The cast also features Ruki Saito, Karin Isobe, Wataru Kozuki, and Keigo Yoshino.

Expressing enthusiasm for his role, Kawasaki described Machida-kun as "a wonderful young man with unmatched kindness and a cute side." The musical is scheduled to run at Theatre Creation in Tokyo from March 29th to April 14th, 2024, followed by performances at Umeda Arts Theater Drama City in Osaka from April 19th to 21st.
