Taisei Fukumoto, a prominent member of Japan's rock boyband Ae! group, takes the spotlight in "Saitama Host Club," now available for global streaming on Netflix.
Follow the story of Kiseki Iwatsuki, portrayed by Fukumoto. He's a young man with an unusual talent – communicating only with plants due to his crippling shyness. When Yurika, a top consultant renowned for restructuring restaurants, is hired by a local Saitama host club to prevent a takeover by a Tokyo outfit named Love 2000, the club's mediocre "hosts" and poor customer relations prompt a novel strategy.
Appalled by the club's subpar "hosts" and lackluster customer relations, Yurika embarks on a groundbreaking strategy. She decides to scout a rank amateur and a country farm boy, Kiseki, to become the lead host. This unconventional choice ruffles feathers and challenges everyone involved to learn and grow. As Kiseki is thrust into this new world, he must navigate the dynamics of "Eichi," the once-renowned host bar, and breathe new life into the fading establishment.
