Ayaka Takamoto of Hinatazaka46 made the announcement of her graduation via her official blog on the 5th. She will be concluding her activities with the group after the release of their 11th single (title undecided) on April 10.

In her blog post, she began by saying, "Today, I have an announcement for everyone. I, Ayaka Takamoto, will graduate from Hinatazaka46 after the activities of our 11th single." She apologized for surprising everyone with the sudden announcement and expressed that she had spent a long time considering her decision to graduate.

She explained, "I agonized over this decision a lot. The thought of graduating first came to me about two years ago, and after numerous discussions with the staff, it has led to this timing. I made this choice because I love, truly love, Hinatazaka46. I have no regrets about making this decision now."

Ayaka also shared her thoughts about the future of Hinatazaka46, stating, "I'm excited to watch Hinatazaka46's journey from now on. I've imagined the future of Hinatazaka46 where I'm no longer there for some time now. From here on, I want to support everyone I love who will continue to shine in a place different from Hinatazaka46."

Regarding the introduction of the selection system from the same single, she mentioned, "This single will be my first experience as an 'under' member. I understand the significance of being chosen here, and I will do my best to be the best 'under' member. As the oldest in the 'under' members, I will do my best to lead everyone until the end."

She concluded her message with gratitude towards her fans and family, saying, "I have been truly happy to be an idol. It has been genuinely enjoyable from the bottom of my heart. Thank you very much! Please continue to support me until the very end!"
