Boy band XY, under the guidance of the legendary YOSHIKI, has just unveiled their latest digital single "YG" on streaming platforms worldwide. This release marks the first of two consecutive singles, with "GET STUPID" slated for release on June 14th.

XY, comprised of 13 members chosen from a global audition, emerged through NTV and Hulu Japan’s talent competition YOSHIKI SUPERSTAR PROJECT X. The group seamlessly merges rock instrumentation with dynamic choreography, performing songs in both English and Japanese.

Formed during an unprecedented worldwide band & boys group audition that kicked off in February 2022, XY attracted attention from notable judges such as Gene Simmons of KISS, soprano singer Sarah Brightman, and choreographer Travis Payne (known for Michael Jackson’s “This Is It”). The program quickly rose to become the #1 rated variety program on Hulu Japan.

"YG" features music by BLUE BLOOD and GAI, accompanied by lyrics penned by YOSHI, KYOHEY, and GAI, with arrangements by GAI and Ayumu Minezawa.
