
Snow Man's Hikaru Iwamoto is set to represent Japan in the inaugural "SASUKE" World Cup 2024. "SASUKE," also known as "Ninja Warrior," is a globally popular show broadcast in 165 countries and produced locally in over 25. This first-ever world championship will feature 35 competitors from Japan, the United States, Germany, France, and Australia, who will battle through four stages in a knockout format to determine the winning nation.

In a departure from the usual individual competition format, this event will feature teams of four men and one woman. Hikaru Iwamoto will be a key member of JAPAN Blue, led by two-time "SASUKE" champion Yuuji Urushihara. Joining JAPAN Blue is a notable achievement for Iwamoto, highlighting his physical abilities and commitment to the competition.
Japan will also be represented by JAPAN Red, led by "SASUKE" regular Yusuke Morimoto, and JAPAN Legend, featuring iconic competitors like Makoto Nagano, Katsumi Yamada, Kane Kosugi, Shingo Yamamoto, and Hiroko Mizuno. These teams are stacked with talent and experience, adding to the excitement of the competition.
The international competition will feature top athletes from around the world. The United States team includes "SASUKE" champion Daniel Gil and Jessie Graff, the only woman to reach the third stage in the American version.
Germany is represented by Rene Casselly, a finalist and champion of their "SASUKE" version, and Australia brings gymnast Olivia Vivian, a representative from the Beijing Olympics.
As Hikaru Iwamoto steps into this prestigious event, fans eagerly anticipate seeing him take on the challenging "SASUKE" course alongside the world's best.
