Sony Music Entertainment (SME) has announced the full acquisition of Zepp Hall Network, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. Zepp Hall Network operates concert venues across six cities in Japan, as well as in Taiwan and Malaysia, and has played a key role in expanding the demand for Japanese live entertainment across Asia.
By acquiring all shares from the joint venture partner Cool Japan Fund (officially known as the Overseas Demand Expansion Support Organization), SME aims to accelerate the growth of Zepp Hall Network and enhance its operations in the live entertainment sector.
The company plans to continue expanding its influence in Asia, with the recent opening of Zepp New Taipei in Taiwan marking a significant step in their regional growth.
