Creepy Nuts has unveiled the music video for their new track, "Otonoke," now available on YouTube. Written as the opening theme for the TV anime "Dandadan," "Otonoke" features an upbeat, jersey club-inspired sound. The song explores the relationship between music creators and listeners, aligning with the themes of supernatural possession found in "Dandadan" and conveying the satisfaction of music filling emotional voids.

You can watch the music video for Otonoke below:

In just two weeks since its release, "Otonoke" has surpassed 20 million plays globally and peaked at number four on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop chart. On October 17, Billboard Japan announced that it debuted at number one on the "Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan" chart, outperforming their previous track, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born."

The music video, created by visual artist Masaki Watanabe, features numerous iterations of Creepy Nuts appearing in sync with the beat. Innovative techniques, such as 3D scanning of the duo, highlight the song's darker themes.

Fans have expressed their excitement about the release, with some commenting that the music video feels like it's straight out of a lucid dream. Others noted the return to form, proclaiming it the opening of the year, and many appreciated the seamless availability of the full version along with the MV. Overall, the reception reflects the impact of "Otonoke" and its connection to the audience.
