STU48 will release their 11th single, with the title yet to be revealed, on January 15, 2025. This announcement was made by the group’s captain, Azumi Okada, during the final night of their theater performance series at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo on November 7.

The performance, titled Who Does the Flower Belong To?, was part of STU48’s special theater series in Tokyo. Okada expressed her excitement for the upcoming single, noting the group’s journey, which includes their first album and their recently launched SHOWCASE LIVE! performance. She emphasized that STU48’s music combines the essence of Setouchi with an emotional intensity and kindness that make it unique.

Okada shared her goal of bringing more awareness to the group, their music, and their connection to Setouchi. She said, “We want this 11th single to embody STU48’s unique world, built through the power of our songs and performances. With our eighth anniversary approaching in March, we’re excited to move forward together with our fans.”

As part of their anniversary celebration, STU48 will hold their 8th-anniversary concerts in Tokyo and Hiroshima in March and April 2025:

• April 5 & 6 - Phoenix Hall, Hiroshima International Conference Center, Hiroshima
