Ayami Muto has announced that she got married to a non-celebrity man last year and is currently pregnant.

Last December, she released the album "Memorial HOTEL" to celebrate her 10th anniversary as a solo artist and also held a commemorative live performance. On her social media, she shared the news of her marriage and pregnancy, saying, "Since my partner is a non-celebrity, I will not be making any public announcements about details regarding him, or personal matters such as the baby's gender or due date. I hope you will kindly support us from a distance."

Additionally, Muto announced that she will be taking a temporary break from her activities starting April 29, which is both the release date for the live Blu-ray of her "Ayami Mutou 10th Anniversary Live" and her birthday. She will hold her last live performance "Ayami Mutou Special Live AYAMI CLUB" before the break on March 29 at the Cotton Club in Tokyo with a full band. She plans to resume her live activities once the situation settles down. "Though I’m still inexperienced, I will continue to work hard so that I can give back to everyone through my singing. Thank you for your continued support in the future," she expressed.
