Japanese television and radio broadcasters are taking action following reports of a sex scandal involving Masahiro Nakai, one of Japan's most prominent TV personalities. Fuji TV announced that Nakai's show, "Dareka to Nakai", will be suspended indefinitely.

This decision comes after reports from Shukan Bunshun and other outlets since late last year, alleging that Nakai, 52, paid a significant settlement to resolve an issue with a woman. Fuji TV cited a need to carefully review the situation and apologized to viewers for the sudden change.

The January 12 broadcast, which was supposed to feature Junichi Okada as guest MC alongside Toshihiko Tahara and Katsuhide Uekusa, will be replaced by alternative programming. Adjustments to the schedule may include extending airtime for shows like "Chidori no Kusesugo!"

The scandal has impacted Nakai’s other programs, including "Masahiro Nakai's Friday Smiles" on TBS and "Saturday Nakai Show" on TV Asahi, both of which have been replaced with alternative content. Nakai’s management and broadcasters have yet to release further details, but the controversy has sparked widespread discussion.
