Travis Japan is set to explore Japan's hidden gems in their upcoming travel variety show, "Travis Japan no JUST! Shin Nihon Isan," premiering on Friday, January 24, at 1:34 AM (Kansai local broadcast). The series will consist of eight episodes, with some scheduled breaks in February and March.
About the Show
The program features two members of Travis Japan embarking on a journey each week to uncover Japan's lesser-known treasures, dubbed “Shin Nihon Isan” (True Japanese Heritage). However, the journey isn’t all smooth sailing—some destinations bring unexpected challenges, referred to as “Shin Nihon Isan” (Tough Japanese Heritage).

In the first episode, Kaito Miyachika and Ryuya Shimekake travel to Kami Town, Hyogo Prefecture. They explore the area with a special Shin Nihon Isan MAP, leading them to unique experiences, including assisting local farmers in lifting the 500-kilogram legs of Tajima cattle for hoof care. Despite initial difficulties, the duo eventually succeeded, humorously recounting the challenge afterward.

Later, they visit a seaside power spot known for its frog-shaped rock, where they write their wishes on wooden plaques. Miyachika hopes to become “a fine man” as he nears 30, while Shimekake dreams of turning Travis Japan into an unstoppable, versatile star group. Their shared solution to these goals? A surprising connection to alarm clocks, which will be revealed in the episode.
