Tsubaki Factory's Shiori Yagi has announced that she will graduate from both the group and Hello! Project at their 10th-anniversary concert on April 30, to be held at the Tokyo Budokan.
Yagi, who joined Tsubaki Factory in 2021, has been an active member for around three and a half years. Since her debut, she had set her sights on becoming a musical actress and, after careful consideration, made the decision to graduate. Reflecting on her time in the group, Yagi shared, "Though my time was short, I kept challenging myself, and I truly feel I was blessed with a fulfilling idol career. I’ve learned that effort is important, but so are luck and timing. It's the combination of both that allows you to seize opportunities. I decided to graduate to ensure I don’t miss the next great chance that may come my way."
She also expressed her deep gratitude: "I’m filled with thanks for the support from the members, staff, and all the fans. Over the past three and a half years, I’ve had the privilege of so many valuable experiences."
Yagi continued, "I’m determined to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a musical actress after graduation. I want to take everything I've learned in Tsubaki Factory with me into this next stage."
We wish Yagi luck in her musical acting career!
