Model and actress Karen Takizawa (32) has announced that she is pregnant with her first child, as confirmed by her agency, Stardust Promotion, in a statement to ORICON NEWS on February 6.

Takizawa married a man working in the architecture industry in July 2022, as she shared on her Instagram at the time. She posted a photo of the man and their dog, writing, "I tend to leave most of my memories behind on the day, but I can still remember the season and the scenery when we first met. He is someone who colors the scenery I see in my life more vividly."

Born on May 13, 1992, in Tokyo, Takizawa won the Grand Prix in the "Miss Seventeen 2008" contest and began working as an exclusive model for the magazine 'Seventeen' from August 2008 until March 2011. She then became a model for 'JJ' from April 2011 until July 2019. Since September 2020, she has been an exclusive model for 'Oggi.'

As an actress, Takizawa made her regular TV drama debut in the 2019 drama 'G Senjou no Anata to Watashi.' She went on to appear in films like 'The Mole Song: Final (2021),' and TV dramas 'Mirai e no 10 Countdown' (2022) and 'Sotsugyo Time Limit' (2022). She also voiced characters in anime films such as 'Kagami no Kojou' (2022), 'Kimi-tachi wa Dou Ikiruka' (2023), and 'Madogiwa no Totto-chan' (2023). Furthermore, her recipe book, 'Karen's Kitchen,' which was released in April 2020, won the Grand Prize at the '8th Recipe Book Award 2021.'
