NMB48 has revealed the 16 senbatsu members for their 31st single (title TBD), set for release on April 9. For this single, Keito Shiotsuki, a third-generation draft member, has been chosen as the center for the first time.

The senbatsu members were announced during a YouTube live broadcast titled 'NMB48 Emergency Live Stream,' which aired on the on the 19th. This marks Shiotsuki's first time as the center for a single’s title track since joining NMB48. Additionally, 9th-generation member Yuka Aobara has been selected for the first time, joining her sister, Waka Aobara, as the first siblings to make the senbatsu together. They will be joined by Wakana Abe, Ayano Izumi, Chihiro Kawakami, Karin Kojima, Mako Sakashita, Misaki Sakata, Ayaka Sakurada, Nao Shinzawa, Rei Haga, Mai Hirayama, Kurumi Mikamo, Mikana Yamamoto, and Miyu Wada. The single will be available in four versions: Regular Editions Types A-C and a Theater Edition.

Moreover, NMB48 has been appointed as the special supporters for the '2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo' and continues activities under the theme "From Osaka to the World." The group is also preparing for a solo live concert titled 'NMB48 LIVE 2025 FROM OSAKA TO THE WORLD ~Yappa Osaka, Suki Yanen~' at the Orix Theater in March, as well as Rei Jonishi’s graduation concert, drawing further attention to their activities.
