In a surprise announcement, acclaimed actress Fumi Nikaido (30) has revealed that she has married Kazlaser (41) of comedian duo Maple Chogoukin. 

The news was shared via Nikaido’s official website and her agency, Sony Music Artists. The official statement read, "We would like to announce that Fumi Nikaido has married Maple Chogoukin's Kazlaser. She will continue her activities as usual, and we sincerely ask for your continued warm support." Finally, they called out, "We humbly ask once again, but as this is a private matter, we would greatly appreciate your understanding in refraining from contacting family members for interviews." 

Kazlaser also posted about the marriage on his official X account. He wrote, "I, Kazlaser, would like to announce that at this time, I have registered my marriage with Fumi Nikaido." He added, "Both of us are quite strong-willed and particular in our own ways, so there is no doubt that there will times when we clash or feel down. But in the end, we hope to build a relaxed and cheerful home where we can always smile and move forward together." He concluded by saying, "To everyone who has supported and been involved with us up until now, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Moving forward, we will devote ourselves to our work with even greater sincerity, striving to live up to your expectations. We would be deeply grateful if you would continue to watch over us warmly."
