OKAMOTO'S bassist Hama Okamoto has announced a temporary hiatus due to health issues.

According to an announcement on the band's official website, Okamoto was advised by medical professionals to take time off to rest, leading to the decision to suspend his activities. He was previously on hiatus from May to July 2024 for similar health reasons.

Future updates will be announced following consultations with his doctor. In the meantime, OKAMOTO'S plans to continue their scheduled activities as much as possible.

The band is also set to hold a solo concert, titled 'OKAMOTO'S OK, BUDOKAN,' on March 12, 2027 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, marking their second performance at the venue and their first in eight years.
