Sakurazaka46 member Kira Masumoto has announced that she will graduate from the group following activities for the group's 15th single, "Lonesome rabbit / What's 'KAZOKU'?," set for release on June 10.

Masumoto shared the news through her blog, where she expressed gratitude to fans and members. She commented, "I really love Sakurazaka46. This place is truly comfortable and an important place where I belong."

"Leaving this place is a little scary, but it's a decision I knew I would have to make someday," she wrote. "I feel like I've done everything I could do here, so please allow me to make this decision."

She added that the decision was not impulsive and asked fans for their support as she gave it careful thought over a long period of time.

Masumoto began activities as a Sakamichi trainee in 2019 and joined Keyakizaka46, which later became Sakurazaka46, in 2020 as a second-generation member.
