Arashi officially concluded their activities on May 31 following the final performance of their farewell tour, 'ARASHI LIVE TOUR 2026: We are ARASHI,' at Tokyo Dome. The concert marked the end of Arashi's 26-year career, which began with their debut in November 1999.

Formed by Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto, Arashi debuted with the single "A・RA・SHI" in 1999 and went on to become one of Japan's most successful and influential groups, dominating music, television, film, and advertising throughout the 2000s' and 2010's.

After entering hiatus at the end of 2020, the members reunited in 2025 with a common goal: to properly thank fans in person after the COVID-19 pandemic prevented them from holding a farewell tour before their break. The farewell tour, 'We are ARASHI,' visited five dome venues across Japan and drew approximately 490,000 fans over 15 performances.

The concert featured 33 songs celebrating the group's 26-year history, including "Love Rainbow," "One Love," "Monster," "Love so sweet," "Happiness," and their debut song "A・RA・SHI." The group also performed "Whenever You Call" live for the first time.

Throughout the evening, the five members reflected on their years together and expressed gratitude to the fans who supported them. Among the night's most emotional moments was a message from Ohno, who said he was glad the group had been able to protect the Arashi they built together for 26 years without losing a single member. Sakurai also left a lasting impression, stating, "We were Arashi. No... we are Arashi."

Arashi concluded the concert with "Five," a song that reflected the group's gratitude toward fans after more than 26 years together. After embracing one another on stage and saying their final words of thanks, the five members brought the curtain down on one of the most celebrated careers in Japanese entertainment history.

A live Blu-ray/DVD and photo book documenting the final performance are scheduled for release on November 3, the anniversary of Arashi's debut.
