
Billboard Japan has announced the winners of its first-half 2026 charts, with Kenshi Yonezu, BTS, and Mrs. GREEN APPLE among the top performers.
Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" topped the overall song chart, 'Billboard JAPAN Hot 100.' Written as the theme song for 'Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc,' the track reached 100 million streams in a record four weeks and peaked at No. 5 on the 'U.S. Billboard Global 200,' the highest ranking ever achieved by a Japanese-language song. Yonezu earned a total of 11 first-half chart titles.
M!LK's "Sukisugite Metsu!" placed second, followed by Mrs. GREEN APPLE's "lulu." in third. King Gnu's "AIZO" and HANA's "Blue Jeans" rounded out the top five.
On the 'Billboard JAPAN Hot Albums' chart, BTS claimed the No. 1 spot with their fifth album "ARIRANG," marking a successful comeback nearly four years since their previous release. HANA's self-titled debut album ranked second, followed by albums from King & Prince, Number_i, and RADWIMPS.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE topped the 'Billboard JAPAN Artist 100' chart for the third consecutive year, followed by HANA, back number, Yonezu, and M!LK.
Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" also led the 'Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan' chart and placed No. 1 on the 'Japan Songs' chart in six countries and regions.
