Former AKB48 member Asuka Kuramochi announced on June 27 that she has married a non-celebrity man.

Kuramochi shared the news on X, revealing that she made the announcement in the ring at a Katano Amanogawa Pro Wrestling event. She also shared that retired professional wrestler Kenta Kobashi, whom she has long admired, served as the witness for her marriage.

In a video posted alongside the announcement, Kuramochi explained that her husband is not involved in either professional wrestling or the entertainment industry. She also shared a photo with Kobashi to commemorate the occasion. 

Kuramochi joined AKB48 as a fourth-generation member and was promoted to Team K in 2008 before graduating from the group in 2015. Known by the nickname "Mocchi," she has remained active as a tv personality and is known for her longtime love of professional wrestling.
