MONKEY MAJIK has announced that their 15th album, "Frequency," will be released on September 2.
The band's first album in two years will feature 10 tracks, including "Unstoppable," a collaboration with JO1's Takumi Kawanishi. This song was released digitally on June 17. On the collaboration, MONKEY MAJIK commented, "The song highlights a side of Kawanishi that fans may not usually get to see on stage. He also plays guitar on the track, so be sure to listen for that as well."
The album will be available in standard CD, CD+Blu-ray, and fan club-exclusive editions. The Blu-ray edition will include footage from 'MONKEY MAJIK 25th Anniversary LIVE,' which was held last year to commemorate the group's 25th anniversary. Limited to 200 copies, the fan club-exclusive edition will also include an original T-shirt and a personalized video message from the members.
The band also announced a tour titled 'MONKEY MAJIK 20th Major Anniversary Tour ~Thank You~,' which will take place from January to February 2027 and visit six cities across Japan. You can check out the tour schedule below.
