
On July 1, Mamoru Miyano announced that he has transferred to Pony Canyon, ending his longtime partnership with King Records.
Miyano made his major-label debut with King Records in 2008 and has since released more than 20 singles and eight original albums. In a statement posted on his official website, he expressed gratitude to everyone at the label for supporting his career and helping him discover the joy of expressing himself through music.
Looking ahead, Miyano said that entering his 40s has inspired him to take on new challenges and show fans a different side of himself as an artist. He concluded by expressing to his fans, "The only reason I'm able to take on these kinds of challenges is because of all of you fans who are always by my side supporting me. Your kind words and smiles have encouraged me and pushed me forward time and time again."
