
Michi Iijima has been appointed J-Pop Executive Producer at HYBE JAPAN, the Japanese headquarters of HYBE, home to BTS.
Iijima, who is widely known as the longtime manager and producer behind SMAP, will continue serving as president of talent management company CULEN while taking on the new role.
According to HYBE JAPAN, Iijima will combine her expertise across film, television, and entertainment production with the company's business platform to help create new entertainment originating from Japan.
The appointment is part of HYBE JAPAN's broader strategy to develop new J-Pop talent and projects rooted in Japanese culture while strengthening its presence in the Japanese market.
