My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi will publish a new one-shot manga titled "Warawanaide yo Shijima-san" in the August 10 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Described as a "boy-meets-girl horror" story, the one-shot will span 61 pages and include a color center page.
The manga marks Horikoshi's first new one-shot since My Hero Academia concluded in August 2024 after a 10-year serialization.
The same issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will also feature a six-page special celebrating the 50th anniversary of KochiKame, supervised by horror novelist Sesuji, as well as a special illustration card drawn by creator Osamu Akimoto.
Horikoshi began his career with one-shot manga before making his serialization debut with Oumagadoki Zoo in 2010. He later launched My Hero Academia in 2014, which went on to become one of Weekly Shonen Jump's most successful series before concluding in 2024.
