The song explores the idea that unexpected moments—like a "bug" in a digital system—can lead to something special, including the bond between Number_i and their fans.

Rooted in phonk genre, "BUGS LIFE" features a slower BPM than is typical for the style, allowing the group's choreography to take center stage. The track also incorporates African and Latin rhythms with unexpected beat switches throughout.

Alongside the announcement, Number_i unveiled an ASCII art teaser video and new artist visuals inspired by the song's digital-themed concept.
