Actor and singer Yu Shirota has announced the launch of his independent label, L&P Records, and will release its first project, his new album "¡Que será será!", on November 18.

The album marks Shirota's first in six years and features songs written and composed entirely by the artist himself. Inspired by the joys, struggles, anxieties, and hopes he has experienced throughout his life, the album reflects his personal journey through honest lyrics and melodies. Its title, which means "whatever will be, will be," conveys a message of moving forward despite uncertainty, weakness, and pain.

Shirota described the album as a project created with longtime collaborators who share his love for music. "This album was created with friends who share my passion for music, drawing from the stories born from my experiences and imagination, as well as the inspiration I've found along the way," he said. "It's a little embarrassing to say myself, but I believe it's an album filled with what makes me, me—something that isn't bound by trends or genres."

To celebrate the release, Shirota will also hold a solo concert called 'YU SHIROTA LIVE 2026: ¡Que será será!', with performances scheduled for November 23 at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo and December 23 at Festival Hall in Osaka.
