Singer-songwriter AKASAKI has announced the cancellation of his upcoming AKASAKI 1st World Tour 'ONIGIRI,' including all scheduled shows in Japan and overseas.

The tour was originally scheduled to run from October through December and would have made AKASAKI the youngest Japanese male solo artist to embark on a world tour.

According to an announcement on his official X account, the tour was canceled "due to various circumstances," with no further details provided.

AKASAKI made his major label debut in July under Universal Music Japan label, EMI Records.

His official fan club, "AKAchan's," will also refund the first month of membership fees for paid members who joined between July 23 and August 11. Further details are available through the fan club's official website.
