Hinatazaka46 has announced that Yoko Shogenji will serve as center for the group's 18th single, "Icha Icha Mushi," set for release on September 30.

The single is the group's third release of 2026 and features a 14-member lineup spanning the second through fifth generations.

This marks Shogenji's first time leading a title track since "Zettaiteki Dai Rokkan," where she she was double center with Kaho Fujishima, and her second time as a solo center following "Kimi wa Honeydew."

Shogenji said, "I want to carry on what my seniors have built, while keeping a close eye on the group and making this a single that can really take flight."
