Former IZ*ONE member Lee Chaeyeon will make her Japan debut with her first Japanese single, "Boku no Koe (My Voice)," on October 8.
After IZ*ONE’s activities ended, Chaeyeon made her solo debut in South Korea in 2022. Her upcoming Japanese activities will place a greater focus on her vocals. The single will also be the first release from newly established music label D1 RECORDS.
"Boku no Koe" is described as a J-rock-style track featuring a refreshing band sound and electric guitar riffs. The lyrics center on expressing feelings that have been kept inside and reaching others through one's own voice.
The single will also include "No Tears On The Dancefloor (JP Ver.)," a Japanese version of the title track from Chaeyeon's fourth Korean mini album "Till I Die," released in April.
