imase has resumed activities after approximately one year and announced that his new EP "Hatena" will be released digitally on October 2.

The singer had been on hiatus since August of last year due to health issues. His upcoming eight-track EP was created during his time away and features more personal and introspective lyrics reflecting his emotions and experiences.

Ahead of the EP, imase has released the new song "Kaze ni Nareru Hazu." The track expresses the idea of moving forward while accepting life's struggles and uncertainties. It was recorded with the band members who have performed with imase since the early days of his career, giving the song a more organic band sound. A music video will premiere on YouTube on September 4.

On his return, imase commented, "There may be plenty of people who could take my place in this world, but I'm the only one who can live my life. I hope this break can serve as a positive message for others who are struggling in the same way. I'm ready to move forward!"
