NMB48 member Rei Haga left the group on September 26 following a violation of the agency's activity rules.

Haga had been on a temporary hiatus since July 3 due to health reasons. According to NMB48's official blog, the violation came to light during discussions regarding her possible return to activities. After further discussions with Haga, the agency concluded that it would be difficult for her to continue her activities, and accepted her request to withdraw from the group.

"I'm sorry for making such a sudden announcement, and I'm truly sorry to everyone who had been waiting for my return," Haga said. She also thanked fans who have supported her throughout her time with the group.

The agency did not disclose further details regarding the rule violation. Haga will not participate in any upcoming events.
