ONE OR EIGHT has released their debut EP "EN-GÏNE" on September 16. The six-track release includes the lead song "TRANSLATE" and previously released tracks "MONSTER" and "INVINCIBLE."

"TRANSLATE" features lyrics that move between Japanese and English around the phrase "No need to translate," reflecting the group's desire to connect with listeners beyond language and cultural barriers. The track combines electronic production, distorted 808s and expansive synths.

The music video was filmed in Vietnam and directed by Phuong Vu, with production by ANTIANTIART. Based on the idea of a Japanese yōkai escaping to Vietnam, the video follows the ONE OR EIGHT members as agents tracking it through the city. Akanen was in charge of the choreography.

On the EP, SOUMA commented, "This EP is a project that fully captures what makes ONE OR EIGHT unique, while reimagining the appeal and culture of Japan in our own way." 

ONE OR EIGHT will support the release with ONE OR EIGHT Special SHOWCASE 2026 in ASIA -V8-, visiting Singapore on October 21, Manila on October 23, and Bangkok on October 25. The group will also travel to all 47 prefectures of Japan for its fan meeting tour, ONE OR EIGHT SHŪKAI 2026-2027 in JAPAN -2GATHER-.
