Voice actress Asami Yaguchi passed away on September 26 at the age of 47. Her agency, Kenyu Office, announced her death on September 28, stating that she died suddenly from heart failure.

Yaguchi made her debut in 2002 and was known for voicing Kuchipatchi in the Tamagotchi! anime series and the young Gintoki Sakata in Gintama. She also appeared in numerous stage productions.

In the announcement, Kenyu Office remembered Yaguchi as a cheerful and caring person who had supported the agency since its early years. Her funeral will be held privately with close family members in accordance with her family's wishes.
