AKB48 will release their 69th single on February 24, 2027, with Momoka Ito serving as center for the third consecutive single.

The currently untitled single was announced during a handshake event for the group's 68th single, "Suki-ish," held on October 4 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

Ito previously served as center for "Nagori Zakura" and "Suki-ish." She now becomes the first AKB48 member in approximately 16 years to serve as the sole center for three consecutive singles, following Atsuko Maeda.

Kohina Narita and Yu Morikawa will also join the senbatsu for an AKB48 single for the first time.

Ito expressed, "With 'Suki ish,' seeing so many people watch the music video and come to the handshake events made me really feel like we were all moving forward together. That's why I want to take on the next single with a strong determination to make something unexpected happen."
