Singer Kumi Koda has announced the birth of her second child.

Koda married KENJI03 of rock band BACK-ON in December 2011 and welcomed their first child in July 2012. She previously announced her second pregnancy in March of this year.

In her Instagram post, Koda shared that she plans to take some time to rest and recover before returning to the stage.

She wrote, "The next time I see everyone, I'll be an even more powerful Koda Kumi than before!"

Koda is scheduled to begin her nationwide Koda Kumi Live Tour 2027 ~Kingdom~ in March 2027. The tour was previously postponed due to her pregnancy and will mark the return of the "Kingdom" tour concept for the first time in approximately 19 years, since 2008.
