Yonezu Kenshi has revealed the music video for his song "Canary" ("Kanariya").
"Canary" is a song that gently acknowledges the people who are living in these times. It's the last song from his latest album "STRAY SHEEP" which was released in August. The video was directed by Koreeda Hirokazu, who is known for his works 'Dare mo Shiranai,' 'Shoshite Chichi ni Naru,' 'Umimachi Diary,' and 'Manbiki Kazoku.' It's his first time directing a music video in about four years, and it's also his first time working with Yonezu.
The video is a short film that depicts the story of three generations. The cast consists of Makita Aju, Tanaka Min, Fuchikami Yasushi, Asami Cocoro, Motomura Kairi, and Kurano Akiko.
