Ketsumeishi has remade the music video for their hit song "Sakura" (originally released on February 16, 2005).
To commemorate the group's 20th anniversary, the group will be releasing their best-of album "Ketsu no Paradise" on March 31. While working on the album, the staff suggested to the members that they share "Sakura" with the world again. As such, they delved into making a brand new video.
The video comes exactly 16 years later with a new storyline starring Kumada Rinka and Ito Asahi. Kumada plays a girl named Miku who moves to South Korea after graduating high school to become a K-POP idol, while Ito plays Ritsu, a boy who gave up on his dreams due to an injury, and eventually aims to become a pilot. It was directed by Yuki Saito, who took part in directing TV Asahi's drama 'Ossan's Love.'
