Even casual students of the Japanese language know of its fondness for onomatopoeia, or words that express the sound of an action or thing. But way beyond simple barnyard sounds, the Japanese have sound words for pretty much everything, and new ones are created every day.

Like today, in fact! In this special sponsored video from Haagen-Dazs, the boys of Shonen Ninja divide into teams and go round-robin in their own version of the popular "Yamanote Train" party game,listing off words to a specific prompt and the associated sounds they make. Points are awarded for how many times around the circle they can go, with the winning team granted a tray of delicious Haagen-Dazs Crispy Ice Cream Sandwich cookies!
