London-based Japanese rock band Esprit D'Air released their new single "Glaciers" on June 11.
For their latest song, the band experimented with a new sound classified as post-rock ballad. Lead singer Kai commented, "The track was approached differently to our usual work as I was musically inspired by post-rock bands Mogwai, Explosions in the Sky and Mono, as well as the early work of Japanese rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel to create a unique blend of atmosphere, heavy rock with a singalong chorus."
The song was mixed and mastered by Paul Visser at The Recording Studio London. It features Kai on vocals and guitar, Jan-Vincent Velazco (Pendragon) on drums, and Takeshi Tokunaga (ex. Knights of Round) on bass guitar.
