Nine-member girls' group NiziU digitally released their song "ASOBO-English ver.-" on April 26. 

This is the English version of the group's digital single "ASOBO," which was just released on April 12. Its main theme is 'playfulness,' and the message they want to convey to fans is that "if you have a playful spirit, you can learn to enjoy any mundane moments in daily life." They hope it will give power to people who find boredom in their daily life, and give a positive feeling when people are feeling down and beaten up from their current situation.

Since its release, the song has ranked No.1 on many charts including the Oricon daily digital single ranking and Oricon daily streaming single ranking, as well as LINE MUSIC, YouTube Music, AWA, mu-mu,and RecoChoku rankings. In addition, they gained over ten million views for its MV just three days after the song's release. 

In the original song, NINA and MIIHI sing strongly as the lead vocalists, while and RIMA and MAYUKA join to build up the song together. Meanwhile, the English version features members RIMA and NINA, who are native English speakers, as the centers. 

Furthermore, NiziU will be joining the biggest Korean culture festival 'KCON 2022 Premiere' on May 8 at the CJ E&M Center in Seoul Korea. They will be performing "ASOBO -English ver.-" for the first time ever, so stay tuned!
