The MV for AI's new song "Life Goes On" has premiered on YouTube.
"Life Goes On" is the theme song to Sato Koichi and Yokohama Ryusei's starring film 'Haru ni Chiru' that's due out on August 25. It was released digitally on August 3 and will be included in the singer's upcoming album "RESPECT ALL" that's slated for release on August 23.
AI wanted the song's music video to be a series of cool scenes, so she entrusted it to video director Bamba Shuichi. In addition, AI, the director, and the film's production staff unanimously felt that Yokohama Ryusei, who plays the protagonist in the film, should also star in the video. This is AI's first MV where she doesn't make an appearance.
The MV presents "a lone man's outlook on life" featuring Yokohama. As boxing is the subject of the film, the video incorporates scenes of him shadow boxing. He commented, "I am looking forward to how it turned out!"
