On January 8, Japanese heavy metal band DEVILOOF released a new single "Song For The Weak."
The single revolves around a ‘rock n roll’ theme, boasting a spirited gang chorus and intricate guitar riffs that seamlessly blend groove and intensity. This track promises to be a favorite at live shows, offering an electrifying yet rhythmic tune.
"Song For The Weak." is the lead track for DEVILOOF’s upcoming EP, sharing its title. This marks the band’s second EP since their major debut. The EP is slated for release on January 24.
Additionally, DEVILOOF also unveiled the music video for it, after the success of DEVIFEST2024, a festival organized by the band for the first time and on the same day at well-known BIGCAT venue in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.
In their latest music video, the band collaborated for the first time with director Kazuaki Kimura, renowned for his work with prominent rock bands in Japan and overseas. The director’s signature technical camerawork and well-timed cutaways, paired with the compelling expressions of the DEVILOOF members and mesmerizing dancers, culminate in a visually spectacular film that is an absolute must-watch.
