Da-iCE's Sota Hanamura released his pre-debut album "ASCEEENSION" on June 3.

Although he has spent more than a decade as a member of Da-iCE, Hanamura describes "ASCEEENSION" as a "pre-debut album," reflecting his desire to embark on a new artistic chapter as a solo artist.

The 13-track album features songs written and produced by Hanamura, as well as collaborations with several renowned artists. In addition to the previously released "Me.exe," the album includes "To you," written by Yudai Ohno, "We Got This," written, composed, and arranged by eill, and "Ienai," written and composed by SIRUP.

The music video for the lead track "Lose" was also unveiled. Built around a funky pop sound, the song portrays the excitement of unexpectedly falling in love.

The album comes ahead of Hanamura's first solo tour, which begins this month and will wrap up with his first solo concert at Nippon Budokan on August 17. The Budokan performance will take place one day after a concert by Natural Lag, the band in which Hanamura also serves as vocalist.
