The first teaser trailer for 'THE ONE PIECE,' a new anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's 'ONE PIECE,' has been released.

The teaser was unveiled during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France. It begins with the legend of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, before following Monkey D. Luffy as he sets sail in search of the legendary treasure known as the One Piece, carrying the iconic straw hat entrusted to him by Shanks. It also reveals key members of the Straw Hat Pirates, including Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji.

The teaser concludes with Luffy using his signature Gum-Gum Pistol attack against the Lord of the Coast. It also confirms that Mayumi Tanaka will reprise her role as Luffy from the original anime series.

On the new series, Tanaka commented, "I felt a little nervous about starting again at this age, but once I actually tried it, I made new discoveries and was able to play Luffy with a fresh mindset. I truly enjoyed the recording process, so I hope many people will watch it.”

'THE ONE PIECE' will re-adapt the story from the very beginning, starting with the East Blue arc. Produced by WIT STUDIO, the series is directed by Masashi Koizuka, with assistant director Hideaki Abe and series composer Taku Kishimoto. It is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in February 2027.
