GENERATIONS released their new song "VIBE" digitally on September 28, ahead of its CD release on October 28. The release marks the group's first CD single in four years.

The EDM-driven dance track was created by member Alan Shirahama alongside TET$V and Kanata Okajima. The song draws inspiration from the sound GENERATIONS and LDH were known for during the 2010s, while incorporating new elements. It also comes ahead of the start of the group's 15th anniversary year this November.

"VIBE" was created with the group's 2016 hit "AGEHA" in mind, as GENERATIONS looks back on their past while entering their anniversary year. Shirahama described the opening lyric, saying, "This is where the good part starts," as both a declaration and a challenge for the group moving forward.

The music video features all six members in live-action, while generative AI was used to create the backgrounds and environments. The video focuses heavily on the group's performance, with choreography created specifically for the song.
